Health insurance - The biggest rip off of all. You have to have it but you get screwed every step of the way.
The reason these two are such ripoffs now can be traced directly to government involvement.

Went to this high end furniture store tonight. A bench was over 1,200. The two chairs were 260 each. Table was 620. You’re looking at 2,500 after taxes for a table that seats 4. Insane.

I graduated from LSU exactly 30 years after my dad. Adjusting for inflation my degree cost 6x what his did. fricking administrators. The situation is untenable.

School fundraisers with massively overpriced chocolates, gift wrap and such, with those ripoff companies.
Buying candy or food in a theater or an airport.
Prison phone costs. Had a family member in prison, in the same state and the calls were $5 for 15 minutes plus $10- $20 fee to put money on the phone acct.

Any convienience fee.
