Restaurant does its workers dirty

Am I the only one who fails to see why this makes it “worse”
The shitty part was firing them with nothing out of the blue, not giving them a few more hours worth of work and pay.

nothing "dirty" about paying someone for work. Seems like a lot of people are learning the hard way on how an economy actually works.

That has nothing to do with economy lol. I have no problem with them being fired. I do have an issue with them telling them at the very end of the shift. That’s dirty. That’s holding back information.

This has nothing to do about money. It has to do with ethics. And being an upfront business.

if I knew I was being fired, I probably wouldn't go in to work a final 8 hour shift to "disinfect" and risk infection

Millennials must realize they are not going to be cuddled- Economics 101 comes into play at at time like this- jobs are going to be lost...life lesson to be learned!

From the article it seems like, even though there were no customers, they were paid the tipped employee wage.

I guess we'll see how this goes.
