Seriously, getting upset about this is pointless. He knew that he would break the 600K mark, but gave no shits, and nothing can be done to him, he's gone soon.

But, if people play hardball, he can shove it up peoples arse sideways.

He's bucking for DNC position, they love him, especially the progressives. They are eating his shite up. He took on the system, won, and rub their noses in it.

Can't wait for this dude's skeletons to come out.

Although I also believe the old saying that you can judge a man by the company he keeps and the children he raises.

Are the private donors anonymous? I just can't understand the idea of private citizens paying for results through the mayor's office. Is this what really happened?

I want to say something about Robert E. Lee. And I particularly want my black friends to think about it. Lee deserves a monument because more than any other human being on Earth he should be credited with ending the Civil War. He absolutely did not have to surrender at Appomattox Courthouse, Virginia when he did. For example, fellow General Braxton Bragg still had his entire Confederate army in the field in April of 1865. Some in Lee's Army of Northern Virginia wanted to sneak away into the Shenandoah Mountains and continue to fight as guerrillas. If Lee had chosen that option, the war would have continued for years and it would have morphed into terrorism like in Northern Ireland. It would have become one of those conflicts like the Palestinians and Israelis or the Serbs and the Croats that never ends. But there's more about Robert E. Lee, the man who put America back together. Lee was the first prominent Confederate leader to swear allegiance to the U.S.A after the war. I assure you that many southerners would never have signed the loyalty oath if Lee hadn't done it first. Don't we all owe a debt of gratitude to Lee? We have a united, peaceful country today because of him.

$2.1M is low because you have to design and replace three of the monuments and the pedestals are still there. It's going to cost a lot more.

I heard that Mitch went into Mandina's, and the other diners booed him and he turned around and left.

And no, I don't have a link.

I read that too somewhere online and don't know if it's true, but I would have loved the opportunity to hurl a meatball at him.

The Landrieau family has been robbing the taxpayers for years and years. The reason the levees were not built to what the Army Corp of Engineers wanted to in the 80's is because Moon and his cronies stole almost 40% of the funds allocated by the federal goverment thru kickbacks and overcharging. The corp had to cut the height down to where it was for Katrina due to this.
The deaths and tortures in New Orleans during Katrina are on the Landrieau families heads. May they rot in hell!!
