Breaking news: 4 of the 5 pumping turbines are now down in New Orleans. Mayor Landrieu warns that you must protect property in case of rain storm. Landrieu urged residents to move vehicles to higher ground and stay off the roads if there are storms. This warning is for the entire East Bank and the city is in danger for the next 48 hours at a minimum. The bottom line is that New Orleans is not prepared for a hurricane. How can that be? Mayor Landrieu pursued national ambitions and other local aspirations but neglected to work on the same issue that devastated New Orleans with Hurricane Katrina. Landrieu fires 3 employees last week because of this and pointed the blame at them for the flooding of New Orleans last weekend.

Landrieu orders all public schools to close. How ironic after he made taking down the statues his legacy, New Orleans is at the brink of another major flood disaster because he neglected making sure the city was protected.
