We walked the cancer road with my dh (a Tiger) a couple of years ago. He is not yet in remission.
Don't lose hope, with God all things are possible!
And ALWAYS demand a second opinion. If I hadn't demanded one before aggressive brain radiation he would have lost significant brain capacity. I praise God for leading us to other medical providers who saw a brighter future for him and a wiser treatment approach.
Go to the best treatment centers you can, such as Anderson in Houston, Hopkins in Baltimore, Mayo Clinic, etc. It truly is worth it!
And be assured of our prayers for healing!

I am 76 and have had an unusual year. In January, diagnosed with prostate and bladder cancer. Had a fall in late January and it was a good thing as tests discovered a heart problem. Had quadruple bypass surgery in March. Recovered well. Yesterday had an outpatient procedure that took care of the bladder cancer for now. All that is left is to beat the prostate cancer and then enjoy LSU football. You must have a positive outlook. And yes, getting old sucks.

I am headed to the LA Sports Hall of Fame event in Natchitoches right now. I am hoping to visit with John Brady. I will definitely show him this. I will also show it to Ronnie Rantz or someone else with the Hall. May be able to get something from them as well.
