Did they ever find out what happened to that one family from the Bay Area who came to visit their daughter in one of the camps?

Not sure if this has been posted here, but Virginia Hollis‘a grandfather leading her horse with her pink boots backwards and her cowboy hat is incredibly sad and touching at the same time.

The death toll in Kerr county alone, 116, has now surpassed the total of deaths in North Carolina from hurricane Helene. With 102 still missing, and the overall total being 144, this could rival Helene. That's hard to believe given the comparative geographical sizes of both events.

Kerr County just announced that all but 3 of the 160 people that have been reported as missing have been confirmed to be alive and accounted for. God bless all the families that suffered loses, unfortunately the last 3 may never be recovered.

Below should be a link to one of the posts trying to analyze the water levels, but I am not sure if it’s still current (with most up to date data file links). Might have to scroll up or down some to find actual post (at least I do on my phone). The poster’s username is mcsatx.

That was hard to watch and beautiful at the same time. May God comfort Virginia's family.

Finally some good news! It was just almost impossible for me to believe that the deaths from this flood would rival the toll from Helene. I was hopeful that most of those still missing were just lost in the shuffle and would be "found" in time. I'm happy for that to be the case.
