Ok. As long as a test of equal difficulty is required to vote. And responsible voting habits must be displayed. Do this, and the rest will solve itself.

I'm down for this.

An aimless vote isnt going to mass murder someone.

Voting habits should be publicized, I agree. If donors are publicized, voting habits should be too. On every ballot.

And I'm not for a dumbass version of the literacy test. Is this the 1960s? Have you evolved or is your daddy George Wallace?

frick all of that.

People want my paw paws shotgun thrown in a vault because some dumb, weak, fricked up individuals think it's cool to go shoot people because they're so depressed.

And then there's these other fricks who think we should all carry around a rifle cocked and locked 24/7 to fight off said fricked up individuals.

How about we identify and deal with the fricked up individuals ASAP and quit attacking the 99.9999999% of law abiding gun owners who will never even consider aiming a gun at another person

. I'll volunteer to take on the position of "guy who decides if you're a fricked up individual or not" and we can go from there.

Voting for the wrong candidate is more dangerous than any gun will ever be. No testing though.

I don't think anyone would object to loudly to say a waiting period-- I mean if its somehow legal for medical procedures to have a 72 hour waiting period what's wrong with putting a waiting period on gun purchases, and possibly forcing purchasers to look through pictures of gun violence to make sure buyers fully understand the potential consequences of gun ownership.

If you really aren't trying to troll, you might be the dumbest person to have ever posted here.

No small accomplishment.

You should quit while you are only this far behind.

There are tens of millions of americans that dont trust these folks and have every reason not to --- > look at their track record.

States rights is code for you move to where they do shite how you want and I'll move to where they do shite how I want. Liberals know their bullshite policies fail when the big dick of the fed gov't isn't there to frick everyone over. You seem to be against freedom. Why do you hate people having choice of the rules they live under. If they make bad decisions, their state will suffer. Smart ones will move to better states. What's wrong with that? What is wrong with people being able to associate with other like minded people? If y'all ideals are so fricking great, what are you scared of? I mean, according to you guys, you're smarter and better n shite. So, we'd be playing right into your hands.

Has anyone suggested that this is a hoax/false flag event to draw attention away from our current situation with Russia?

Florida has a 3 day waiting period.

Besides, waiting periods don't do much.

politicians in bed with corporations/lobbiest is more dangerous.

we ran from britain because power was centralized within the "blood" of a few, now we're just replicating the same thing (hilary and Jeb) but via money.

Youd think we wouldnt repeat history but some people just arent that bright enough or care enough to notice

You really have no clue do you?

After a prospective buyer completes the appropriate form, the Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) initiates the background check by phone or computer. Most checks are determined within minutes, but the FBI has up to three business days to make a determination. After that, the transfer may legally proceed anyway.

There is a waiting period if anything on your check doesn't add up.

More news leaking out:

quote:

Federal authorities descended on Roseburg as social media rumors spread of a hate-based motive behind Thursday's mass shooting at Umpqua Community College.

Oregon's top federal prosecutor said he and other government officials have heard the same rumors that the public has about the shooter issuing "some sort of race-related manifesto" before the crime.

quote:

An 18-year-old student at the school, Kortney Moore, told a Roseburg newspaper that the shooter asked students to state their religion before opening fire on them. Moore was sitting in her writing class when a bullet blasted through the window and she saw her teacher shot in the head, the News Review reported.

quote:

Nine agents with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives raced to the college in the immediate aftermath of the shooting and five deputy U.S. marshals also responded.

Interesting.
