If she didn't want her social circle to know about it, sure. I don't like speculating about stuff like this, and this dragon dude is being a dick about it, but this kind of thing isn't as unheard of as people are making it sound. Oxy abuse is a silent epidemic in the upper middle class right now.

There doesn't have to be a connection but there almost always is.
I'm reminded of that pilot who crashed the plane into the mountain in the France a couple of years ago. For a long time everyone thought it was an accident and crazy how two pilots were incapacitated at the same time. Very few said hold on the chances of that are very slim. Something else was going on here.

Maybe Because the guy (a friend) that picked it up didn't fit the description so they tailed him back to their house where the perp was and surveilled to see the perp there then acted.
ETA: Nm that doesn't make sense. Why would they put out a release on it if they were watching it? Likely was photographed because looked suspicious.

No, people here have equated questioning the stories we've been given to victim blaming. It's completely dishonest. Yes, some people have gone a bit far when saying "x probably happened", but others are getting crucified for asking the same questions any investigator would ask.
I just don't see why it's taboo to ask questions.
