Are we talking about the same case here?
No. There were a bunch of cops/helicopters off Burbank this morning, searching for some suspects in a different case but someone in this thread speculated that they might be going after the suspect in the LSU KKG abduction. The cases do not appear to be related.

I was referring to DixonCider's comment about the incident around Lakeside this morning on Burbank. Cops and a helicopter were searching for two guys who beat up a girl. Both were caught. Hasn't been on the news or anything. Sorry for the confusion.

No they are stupid too.
I deal with criminals regularly. The stories...yeah, they are fricking retards and I believe it.

Well, duh, we know that. I don't know if you've ever been around any criminals for any reason, but there are many with the IQ of concrete. Logic and knowledge are not among their attributes if there are any.
I have no idea whether her story as told by the poster, is true or not, but, yes, I believe it's plausible.

Stupid arse criminals that are about to rape someone isnt going to pull over and pick up a box of condoms before he rapes someone...what the frick does he have to gain my doing that?
There's no telling what he may have thought in that empty head of his assuming this to be true. you're assuming this alleged perp has some sense.

Are you seriously suggesting that there aren't gobs and gobs of stupid criminals? What the frick are you smoking? I guess our jails and prisons are just loaded with bright minds.

The alleged perp could have been on drugs etc... at the time which could also cloud his thinking. To assume a perp couldn't be this dumb is dumb.

Seriously.

I don't think you realize how dumb these criminals are.

Compliance from the potential victim?
Did you even read the guy's alleged story?

Yall are all right. Her story is totally believable.
I don't know anything about how criminals think nor do I associate with them.
I guess my thinking was too logical.
I'll just keep my naive thoughts to myself next time.

Am I the only one who has a tough time believing some man forces a girl into a car by gunpoint then thinks to himself, I'm going to do this girl a solid and let her buy condoms for me before I RAPE her?
That seems plausible?
So the other side of that is she's riding with the dude, completely agreeable with them hooking up, gets out of the car and goes into gas station and tells the guy abduction/rape/gun and then the dude, a hapless innocent, sees drama going on inside and hauls arse, in her car, no less.
If he's innocent then why haul arse?
If he's not stupid, why stay in her car and take off, which only increases the crime significantly from a possible he said/she said to grand theft auto, kidnapping, etc.?
So he's stupid enough to do one but not the other?
ETA: well, frick.

BATON ROUGE – LSU Police have released a photo of the vehicle that belonged to the suspect wanted in the abduction of a student earlier this week.
The image was released via a flyer to local law enforcement that asks for information that could help identify the suspect wanted for second-degree kidnapping and sexual battery.
A spokesperson for LSU Police said the department did not feel the need to release the image to the media. WBRZ-TV was able to obtain the flyer through sources.
The flyer states that the suspect abducted an LSU student, forced her into his own car and drove off campus with her. The flyer says the suspect drove the vehilcle pictured above onto campus and parked it in the area. It goes on to describe the vehicle as having damage to the driver and passenger side and missing a passenger side mirror.
A spokesperson for LSU Police said the department did not feel the need to release the image to the media. WBRZ-TV was able to obtain the flyer through sources.
Weird....

No allegation of rape in this article. Just kidnapping and sexual battery.

This entire thing is fricky... all sorts of mis-information.
Weirder and weirder...
