Yet they claimed Trump set up his own assassination attempt to get a bump. Then they claimed the 2nd guy at the golf course wasn’t actually trying to assassinate him. He was just hanging out in the bushes with a gun. Then they had multiple people openly advocating for more attempts.

You're making my point for me, you're just too dumb to realize it. They've always been around but you didn't see the backlash until they started asking for shite that doesn't just impact themselves (like an adult getting gender reassignment surgery), they started asking for shite that impacts *everyone*, like going into certain bathrooms, playing in certain sports leagues, some of them want kids to be taken away from parents that don't "support their kid's identity".
And to address your repeated cheap shots at Christianity, the Bible was written partly as a tool to have a functional, sane society. Christian and formerly Christian but now secular societies are the most advanced our world has to offer. They regularly go out of their way not just to make sure their societies are equal for groups like trans people, they've actually dipped more into the pool of pandering and appeasement. Having young people pumped full of drugs and mutilating themselves is not a symptom of a sane or functional society. If you need evidence of this, go put a bunch of trans people on an isolated island, come back in 100 years, and see how its doing.

You can't have things both ways, if his roommate calls both of them Jim, he's likely not too heavily invested in politics. And let's be honest if the roommates statements were in your rooting interest I'm sure you would be running with that.
