Majority of Democrats do wants Trans people to have rights. Most right wingers or in your words “normal peopl” don’t. It’s really not that hard to understand.
SFP gave you four very commons threads that link someone to being a conservative or at the very least don’t label them a leftist and only in .0001% of Dems would have anything in common with the things he listed.

The loud leftist have made trans and abortion their poster projects. The normal leftist quietly go along with it because that is human nature.
The single worst thing that can happen to someone is to be ostracized by their group. To be cast aside. So the majority does what the “group” aka the squeaky wheel, wants because that’s the one making the noise.
Same with republicans. Plenty of republicans are turned off by trump but they hold their nose and go with it because they don’t want to lose their friends and family.
It’s basic human nature.
If you seriously think the majority of democrats SERIOUSLY believe that men can become women, then idk what to tell you.
