I'd go with this one.. And how long are you going for? Check other rental places and compare prices, but how many people are going on this trip?

it happened to someone i know with a rental from budget or enterprise, can't remember. he signed the contract and it said the car can't leave the country. well i guess they check the gps or something and charged him $300 fee.

Contrary to popular belief, they do not have any type of regular GPS systems in the vehicles. Or at least at Enterprise they don't.

OK, thanks. As far as I can tell, my contract explicitly says I can take it to Canada, just need the insurance card. Just weird how one company (Enterprise) is claiming that no companies will let you do it.

because they don't want you to go to a competitor.

they wouldn't let me pull my trailer when my truck was in the shop. so I had the dealer rent me a truck from uhaul for the week.

Why do you need a big van? One adult and a bunch of minors or a bunch of people getting hammered? I looked into this for a bachelor party one time as we had a guy in AA going but it was cost prohibitive, literally basically the same price to rent a limo. Two mini vans are much cheaper than a 10-12 person van. Which never made sense to me, must be an inventory control issue.
