I have at least 50 of those books in my old room from when I was a kid. I always thought it was Stein. My whole world is upside down right now.

I grew up in a Jewish neighborhood so we probably just mentally autocorrected the spelling.

I loved those stories as a kid. And yeah, I always thought it was Berenstein, and not Berenstain. I guess I just never read the cover.
