Remember Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark? Anyone notice some hidden things in the art?

How many of you turned this book around on your bookshelf when you were a kid?
Specifically this one
Look at the musical notes, and then look at the drawing of the hearse. Anyone else see what I see? Or am I just going crazy.
Never saw it as a kid but I pulled it down the other day and looked at it and couldn’t believe my eyes. I wonder what else I might have missed.
Man, these illustrations still give me the heebie-Jeebies as a grown man.
And did y’all see how they tried to neuter the illustrations in the new edition?
The illustrations were the best part and they tried to steal that from kids.
Read your kids the old books and give them real nightmares.

These illustrations are so good. I'd love to find large prints of these and hang them up in my house. Also on reddit yesterday there was a book that inspired David the Gnome which had some amazing illustrations.

but I’m not very deep.
These were some of my favorite books as a kid. I still get that “don’t you ever laugh as the hearse goes by” song stuck in my head.
