The shift on Bluebonnet at I-10 is still fricked up and permanent. How do you change a traffic pattern overnight that’s been one way for 20 years without putting any signs up and letting people know.

Now the left lane exit onlys onto the interstate and creates a jam of people trying to get back onto Bluebonnet right at the light every day.

Could you expand on this?

The moveebr tax is a PARISH tax isn’t it? Therefore even when st George passes, they’re still gonna be paying this tax....

It's amazing how many Traffic Engineers post on this board yet all have a different solution.

I like that setup better.

The Bluebonnet construction is pissing me off, though. They've been working on in for what seems like 6 months and its nowhere near done. They made saw cuts on the panels at the Perkins intersection in front of CC's months ago and never actually replaced it, so now there's a huge chunk that broke off on one of the corners of the cut and it's now a pothole. The incompetence of road construction in this state is absolutely staggering

The funniest thing about mid city is the people on this board that live there and won’t admit it’s the ghetto

All the mid city posters are probably too busy filling out police reports

I agree - that was dumb move. It reminds me of how incompetent our dumb mayor is every time I am at that intersection. I'm not saying that the dumb bitch built the road, I'm referring to "general stupity" and Broome is the first thing I think of.

Any Street at Airline is a cluster frick.
I hate Airline more than our dumb mayor. It makes me want to throw the frick up.

The intersection of the 10 east service road and Siegen recently revived an extra lane next to the two left turn lanes (going toward Target’s) at the light. What for? To allow people to go straight across Siegen and onto the Interstate. I reckon it’s for the hospital. But that intersection is already fricked and most people don’t know how to use it, the addition of a lane to only go straight can only frick it up worse.

must have been the same people who did the 621/airline intersection in AP. Now, the right lane on 621 is right turn AND straight. Left lane is only left turn. so, if 30 people want to turn right onto airline and the 1 person in front is going straight , the 30 are fricked.

The new frontage road access at The Grove/Ochnser is past the I-10 EB access point. That new through lane at the interchange provides that access for people leaving that development.

But yes, people are most definitely going to use it to cheat up to the front of the line and sneak over into the left turn lane.

Also, people are definitely going to take the wrong leg of the roundabout when leaving Ochsner so they can jump across the frontage road onto the I-10 EB ramp. It's basically impossible to idiot-proof anything around here.
