That's sort of sad. But that's the weirdest looking news release I've ever seen.

The school sucked, but the Catholic diocese needs a special needs school like Redemptorist. They need a better location, though.

Who would want to pay to send their kids to a school in that area of town? I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner.

Zachary and Central pretty much put the final nail in their coffin years ago.

They should have been allowed to relocate, but oh well.

Not surprising. Nobody wants to send their kid to the hood when St. Joseph's/Catholic/St. Michael's are all more easily accessed and safe.

Wow. I guess I'm not surprised but that's kind of sad given the history.

With the goofy mentality of BR, how long is it before Catholic's location is considered "the hood"? Hell, it seems like many almost think it is now.

That's what I was thinking. Why the hell couldn't they just relocate out of the hood?

Can I get an explanation as to why enrollment was so low? I thought Redemptorist was a good football school, or at least was at one time.

Aren't lots of private schools in or near a hood, tho?
