Red Rum Sportfishing
Hit the casino in the marina mall, craps table is a 5 peso minimum lol.
ETA: Also, go eat at Asi y Asado on Hwy 1 just east of town. Little shithole cafe with amazing food/tacos. It's only about a 150 peso ($10ish) cab ride there.

Fishing is great this time of year. Red Rum is a good guide. Ediths, La Golondrina, Mi Casa are all great restaurants.

Red rum was great. Amazing Cabo bar crawl was fun too. Scuba was pretty rough

If you're in the downtown/marina area you can walk to all of them

I went last November with my Pops & his friends.... had a truly epic time! Went with Pisces charter, very legit! The fishing is incredible this time of year & spotted quite a few whales too. Catching Sail Fish was cool (definitely a work out) but really enjoyed the wahoo, mahi & especially the yellow fin!!
*first thing I learned: at the airport after you clear customs & get your luggage.....you will have to then pass through the "tourist trap" room where dozens of people will try to get you to sign up for everything from charters to time shares......
DONT make eye contact, hell, act like your talking on the phone & proceed outside....there you'll find a nice little bar while you wait for your ride. It's about a 45 min drive from airport to Cabo so grab one for the road.
The locals will also annoy the shat out of you all over the marina with those faux Cuban (Mexican) cigars.....but there are some good little cigar shops around town with a great selection of legit Cuban & Domincans. Cabo Wabo was hit or miss depending on the night.
I'm a simpleton but I loved bringing in our catch to the local restaurants around Marina, after a full day on the Pacific & eating the freshest fish I've ever had cooked many different ways. Also, the views are fantastic....seeing the Arch every morning while heading out & again in the afternoon was awesome.. You'll have a blast!

For just 1 day or?
There's dozens to choose from. Our group had 5 full days of fishing so we booked ahead of time. You can always walk up to the boats in the marina (the day before) & book that way. This is slow time of year, so not as crowded & you should be able to score some good rates.
*our guides were cool but still expected a decent tip (even after donating some of out catch) on the two slow days we had.

Only going for 4 days and have a bunch of girls going with us. If I were to do it it would be a 1 day trip. Looking at rates online it looks to be about 160/person which isn't to bad.

Not to worry. The men at the airport terminal will tell you all the great hotspots and timeshare tours to take.

We're leaving next Sunday for 5 nights. Fishing with redrum on the 17th. Our first time down too

Doing a timeshare meeting at our resort. I have faith I can listen for 90 minutes say no and accept their 400 credit.
