I might have considered buying another pair of brown J&Ms if they weren't so damn uncomfortable for standing and walking all day at work.
Hmmm, given you earlier post as well, i'd consider these Cole Haans or something similar. Not my taste, but may work well for you. In full disclose, i've seen quiet a few men wearing these to more conservative finance jobs, so I they meet the professional enough requirement.

Tough and good looking?
Wolverine 1000 mile. They’ll cost you but they have a stellar reputation for durability and they look good in a lot of situations.

Heh. Don't think I can pull those off.

Those remind me some Eastlands I used to wear during the early to mid 00s. Most comfortable pair of shoe I've ever owned.

Those look great but expensive. I'll have to do some reading about how well they hold up.

Cole Haan outlet. Rubber sole.

They are expensive. You could buy some used ones on eBay and get them resoled. I’ve done that with Allen Edmonds and come out way ahead.

They hold up great just like Red Wing Iron Rangers. I have a pair of IR's and work in a similar industry, sales/project management. I needed something that looked good in the office but could wear to the job site.

So I'm basically looking for the holy grail of shoes that are tough/resilient, stylish, professional, comfortable and inexpensive.
Now that you mention it, I'm looking for a car that drives like a Ferrari, has the towing capacity of an F-250, and looks like a Bugatti, but I'm hoping to pay Hyundai prices. Any recs?

I have Red Wings and they took 2 years to break in. Man they are stiff. I also have the Georgia boot Wellington and they are really comfortable. Also the Danner but probably not what he’s looking for.
And I don’t see Allen Edmonds in the environment he describes.
