Something like the pic below. Would ride no more than a few miles at a time putt putting around town. Anything decent quality (that won't fall apart) for <$250?
Thanks

Thanks

look on bikesdirect.com I have a single speed mtn. bike from them that I am very impressed with. They have cruiser and road bikes as well that may suit your preferences a little better.

Watch 60 minutes now and get the one with a motor.

what ever you get, make sure it's fit properly...top tubes and nuts don't mix well

Looks like you'll need to spend more money to get an actual commuter bike.

I would just get an old 90's steel frame mountain bike and put new slick tires on it. You shouldn't have trouble finding one for $100. You'll have gears in case you need them and it will do better with the pot holes along your commute. A decent bike that is new will be $500+.

They have those fat tire bikes at Academy. Mongoose is like $199 and some other brand is $189. Thinking about pulling one down myself for riding around the hood with kids.

is that a hipster bike? i just like the look, i think the retro look looks cool. If chasing my kids around on their bikes makes me a hipster, pop a top of Pabst for me...
