I think if we're being real, we can see where a total approach is needed. A real man contributes with earnings, with leading the family, with protecting the family, with teaching the kids, with love for the family, etc.
If you're weak in any one area, you're at risk to lose everything. Being a family man can be really difficult, especially in this day and age. That's no reason not to try. But men should get more respect for this role than they currently do, on the whole.

This is not at all what I took away from the billboard. I took it to mean that men provide for their families in all ways, financially, emotionally, just sticking around and women appreciate all of that.
I don't think I make a very good SJW feminist.
ETA: I guess one could read it that way, but that's not the only way to see it.

Honestly, this is directed at the women who protest in vagina suits IMO. Be appreciative of what you have. Stop emasculating men at such a young age.
