It kind of makes sense that flu numbers would be down if more folks were staying at home and not mingling.

Staying at home didnt seem to keep people from catching COVID.

those who claimed only 6k people died from COVID.

would have been easier to accept the numbers the govt and media threw out if they had separated "from covid" and "with coved".

died in a car wreck, tested positive for covid? Add that person to the death toll.

same. got Covid in April 2020.

I'm a notorious get the flu and it is a take down for me once a year person.

Haven't had the flu or a cold since then.

Because of my age, I've considered the new synthetic flu vaccines as the organics always gave me the most nasty version of the flu putting me down for a week. I haven't ever had the Covid vaccine and it's been over 15 years for a flu vaccine.

One of the worst parts of Covid was what it revealed about people you know and how little cognitive dissonance matters to people in general.

Covid killed me as well. I died on August 12, 2021 in a NY hospital. That virus was brutal.

The amount of people begging for lockdowns and mask mandates during honor chode's updates was pretty amazing.

It’s pretty hilarious how many of you supported lockdowns and were tricked to think this would be the worst virus in history.

If you want to make this argument in the following months after this thread, that's totally valid. However, flexing that you were right in mid March 2020 is dumb because you had nothing to back up your claim just like everyone else. No one knew anything.

I’m more concerned that at one point a majority of one party was in favor of sending people to camps and removing children from houses where the parents didn’t comply with vaccinations.

My brother acted like a total pussy during Covid, taking every precaution, wouldn’t put his kid in daycare or any preschool , and now his son has speech issues, I think it’s entirely related. We lied to him about being vaccinated, did everything we could as normal, and our kids turned out normal. I would do it again.

The people who think Covid wasn't a real, deadly illness are just like flat-erathers and Dems who sell their Teslas bc Elon hurt their feelings.

My best friend's brother is still stoking his own ego,

My friend has never met his nieces who are under 6 and they have only seen their grandmother once. They refuse to travel and they want the grandmother to test daily and isolate herself for two weeks before she visits. It is hard for her to travel due to physical limitations.

The school had to intervene just in the last few months and request they stop sending their kids to school with masks. The girls would be in tears daily begging the teachers to let them remove the masks their arrogant parents make them wear.

Your BF's brother is a flaming pussy.

I weep for his daughters.

I actually just got over it. Had it from mid-January through the 2nd week of February. I haven't been sick(outside of having norovirus last February) before or since. But it kicked my arse.
