Clicked becasue it said River Oaks, and I thought, "that's odd."

Checked map. NOT River Oaks.

Can one of you more hip baws translate that for us old geezers?

From what I gather, the guy in the photographs and his girlfriend killed an armed intruder trying to break into their house. He posted pictures from the crime scene gloating about the deed. It looks like the people who tried to kill him the first time were successful on the second try.

In short, he was gloating to the world that he survived an assassination attempt, the men who had a beef with him didn't like that, and so they sent another squad to kill him and succeeded in ending the rapper's life.

When will these dudes learn that it's never a good idea to brag about killing somebody. All that does it literally paint a giant target on your back that says "shoot me".

I've never liked that area. Way too much traffic.

Rappers should get hazardous duty pay. It's a dangerous job.

I don't think so. Rappers seem to have a relatively short life expectancy compared to the typical blue collar job.
