It's a gift which is non taxable to the recipient. So, no they won't and there's nothing wrong with them not doing so

He didn’t get them fired. The coffee shop is independent from the university.

Do you honestly think this is the entire story? I know it sounds crazy but maybe they had a history of doing stupid shite?

Lol having been to that coffee shop damn near every day for a year...

There is no inside seating. You grab your coffee then go outside. Also, the music is not loud at all, and you only hear it the 5 minutes you're in line.

Oh and it's college. The SJW needed to lighten up.

Dolph is a terrible rapper, and obviously you dont play trap music in a professional setting. That should go without saying. But for students who quite possibly maybe working their first job, that maybe a conversation the supervisors need to be having with the student workers.

Meanwhile, unless the studdnts in charge refused to change the song, or they were told multiple times about the music. Then they have no business at all being fired. If this was trult their first time being reprinanded, and they are fired automatically. Then that is pretty fuxked up.

That’s pretty presumptuous man. I remember Nancy Grace being all over it and even back then I was worried the outrage machine was outpacing our knowledge of the facts and the trustworthiness of the accuser

An old cuck?

That song says the word **** 73 times

I can’t say the word **** once without getting crucified. shite you are probably triggered just by seeing me type the word **** as I quote the song with no other negative connotation associated to it.

How bad would the VP of duke get slaughtered by the media if he uttered the word ****? But he is supposed to let it be played on blast in a coffee shop on his campus?

The hypocrisy is ludicrous. GFY

Like Scruffy said, a bunch of people in this thread are fully supporting racist language.

But isnt that what happened? Story I saw on this earlier in the week said that the VP didnt ask for them to be fired. He just contacted the shop manager to report it and ask them to make sure other employees arent playing vulgar music in the shop. Manager made the decision to fire them

Not really. Nearly everyone was against them. The media shaped the narrative.

It's not an unfair assumption to say someone was likely against them.

It’s ironic that the people who are constantly offended by every micro aggression don’t understand when their behavior offends others.

Sure you can blast young dolph at the coffee shop, you can also be fired for blasting young dolph at the coffee shop. Don’t like it? Open your own coffee shop and play the music you want to.

If that's indeed what happened, then the dude handled it exactly as he should have. Direct the venom at the manager.

You aren’t much of a thinker are you

It’s a private business. They can decide what music they want to be played at their establishment. Why is that hard to understand? Like I said, if people really are dying to hear that at the coffee shop then it should be a great opportunity to open a competing coffee shop, blast young dolph, and get all the business. I’m all for that, but stop complaining because they were fired for being shitty employees.
