This is my ranking based on styling alone. Trucks with the same bodies but significantly different front ends were counted as separate entries.

20 - Mid 2000’s: The angry smashed face front doesn’t work with the rounded body on the rest of the truck IMO. Plus the angular styling cues never really went anywhere for the next model.

19 - 1920’s: This model looks cool in a modern context but can anyone today other than experts tell this isn’t a Ford or Dodge Brothers? A little too generic.

18 - Mid - late 1970’s: This bodystyle was around forever which probably hurts its ranking. The body is fine but the early round headlight versions aren’t on the same level as the 1980’s models.

17 - The Jet Age - Early 1960’s: I like these but consensus is they were a little too weird so I am leaving here. Most objections centered around the hood.

16 - Late 2000’s: The Bankruptcy truck and it shows. Bland but serviceable. I think Chevy was trying to channel the 67-70 models with the front end. This is probably about right for this model.

15 - 1918 - The first one. Probably generic styling for the day but look at that wooden cab.

14 - 1930’s: This is an elegant looking vehicle by today’s standards but doesn’t look very ‘truck’ to me. Very cool wheels though.

13 - Late 1950’s - Again I have a soft spot but looking back I don’t think anyone would call them an improvement on the 55-57. Still a head turner today though.

12 - Early - mid 2000’s: These are good looking trucks in their own right however they are basically a derivative of the earlier (more attractive) model so it is hard for me to rank this one higher.

11 - 2014 - 2015: Ditto above but this one harkens back to the K10 era. I think Chevy did a good job incorporating 1980’s styling cues.

10 - 2019: The newest. I am putting this one in the middle because there are things I like, things I don’t. Basically still digesting this one.

9 - 1940 - This model combines a more brawny looking front end with the curved fender elegance of the earlier model.

8 - 2016 - 2018: This is a derivative style also in a way but I really like the way the front end works with the angular body. Lots of detail.

7 - Early 1950’s: Now I’m stepping into controversy. The market really likes these and would put them much higher but based on my preferences I can’t rank this style higher. Flame on.

6 - Late 1940’s: That chrome waterfall grille and fender mounted headlights. Have always liked this one.

5 - Mid 1960’s: Many (most) others would never rate the C10s this high but what can I say?I really like details on these and the low slung headlights.

4 - 1990’s - One of the best. In fact I think an argument could be made for any in the Top 4. This body style struck a perfect balance between modern and brawny IMO and a clean version today looks almost timeless.

3 - 1980’s: It really is hard for me to pick any truck over a proper K10. The proportions and stance were just right not to mention that square front end.

2 - Mid-1950’s: One could easily put this number one with few arguments. This is probably the classic hot rod truck for the past several decades.

1 - 67-72: The best. The subtle details on the body lines along with the honest simplicity of the grille make for a number one spot. These look good lowered, stock, and lifted. Chevy got this one right.

Good rankings.

I like the newer Chevys a lot. Your number 7 and number 4 are also head turners.

The K10s are beautiful too.

No love for the 14-18s?

I agree with your top 4 though. The 2019 is a lot to digest. I like the trail boss trim, but don't like that you can't get it with a 6.2.

cant beat the the late 90s trucks for whole whole package

the only bad thing is the dash always cracks to hell on all chevy trucks

for just the dash cracking issues alone, the 67-72 trucks gets the nod for having the all steel dash that lasts forever

I have a 1970 Chevy C10 Fleetside Long wheel base that was one of my fathers fleet trucks. I still drive it.

I love the 2014-2015 styling and its even more interesting to me that they didnt use it for very long so theres not as many out there.

Id love to see them bring it back for 2020.

I like No. 1 the best as well.

My old neighbor rebuilt a 69 in his garage and painted it a copper color. Came out real nice.

No truck embodies the spirit of white trash more than the square body Chevy from the late 70's early 80's era

I think 1988 was the most dramatic change for the better. Compare an 87 to the 88; vastly improved styling.

I don’t have any opinion of the pre-1980s models. But I definitely agree that the mid and late 2000s were gross. Especially the mid 2000s which you rightly rank last. They always look like shite on the road. The front doesn’t mesh with the rest of the truck.

I really don’t notice much difference between 2014 and a 2018 model but I like them a lot.

Late 90s was indeed the classic pickup look.
