If every single thing is a struggle, it's time to move on. It doesn't mean that you don't love each other, it just means that you're not right for each other. Relationships take work but not to the point that it's a grind.
Looks fade. You're going to have to deal with this person, compromise with them, rely on their judgement, etc... Don't marry a dumbass.

At my age and with my wife passing away in 2017 this is actually something I had to contemplate if I was going to date again. The younger guys would not understand the list but:
1. Widow - was not going to deal with a live ex-spouse
2. College educated - wanted someone on same education level as myself
3. Professional - goes along with #2, but wanted someone who had a professional career. Did not have to be in any particular field
4. Financially stable - I did not want to become someone's purse
5. Love to travel - My favorite thing to do. I was going to connect with someone who enjoyed to travel and was not seeking to sit at home every weekend.

Personality - This will need some serious vetting so one can unearth the level of crazy - if any. Everyone has skeletons in their closet, but some wayyyy more than others. Better to find out upfront than later down the road.
Looks - People can argue all day long about how looks shouldn't matter, but what it boils down to is are you physically attracted to this person?
Career - To me, women who have a solid job and career plan are better choices than others.
Time to move on - lets just say that she isn't a skank and won't cheat. Way too many factors for this - do you fit? Can you deal with her shite on a daily basis? How does she fit with your family/friends? The list is endless, but if she consistently fails in this area then its time to move on.
Keep going - Once again, too many factors. It boils down if you really want to or not.
