That’s nuts. You could stretch this one to Norway and North Korea even if you wanted to... but for some reason Finland sounds better

Most know the highest point east of the Mississippi River is Mt. Mitchell in NC at 6684'.
However, the mountain pales to the highest point in the Caribbean, Pico Duarte on the island of Hispaniola is about 3500' higher, checking in at 10,164'

Kentucky Bend is the westernmost part of KY. You can only access it by driving through Tennessee. It has a TN zip code.

That is amazing. Going to guess the states & capitals w/o looking at a map.
So we're looking at that far southwestern corner of VA, somewhere like Wise, just north of Tennessee and east of Kentucky.
1. Charleston, WV
2. Frankfort, KY
3. Nashville, TN
4. Columbus, OH
5. Indianapolis, IN
6. Atlanta, GA.
Hmmm. A little trickier now.
7. Columbia, SC
8. Raleigh, NC
9. Montgomery, AL
Alright, gonna check and see how I did.

Here is an amazing one.
Venice, Italy, is farther north than Minneapolis.

The Mariana Trench is 7,000 feet deeper than Mt. Everest is tall. It's even more than a whole mile bigger than Mt. Everest.

The largest lake in the world is the Caspian Sea, which borders Iran to the south, Russia and Azerbaijan to the west, Kazakhstan to the north and east, and Turkmenistan to the southeast. It's more than four times larger than Lake Superior. Lake Superior stands as the largest freshwater lake, however.
The world's deepest lake is Lake Baikal in eastern Russia. It is a freshwater lake that is 5,315 feet deep. Can you imagine a lake more than a whole mile deep?

It’s pretty wild that if you flew straight south out of New Orleans, you’d never come within 100 miles of the west coast of South America.
