What the hell would the "O" stand for? Baton Rouge of Louisiana?

the property’s assessed value was $1.8 million. Its taxes were $21,000.

I think if I was OT rich, Mallard Lake would be a nice place to live. There's some nice property back there. Id guess a lot of that flooded in 2016 though? It's right on the Amite.

still not as high as TX, when I lived in FL I lived on the water with a dock and easy access to the ocean, the home sold for about what Gay's former home is up for sale for and my taxes were about half of that, which is about what they are on my TX home with appr. 1/3 the tav

ETA: house in TX is in your typical cookie cutter neighborhood where all of the houses are your typical look alike mini McMansions, nothing special about it

not often you see a home going for under the tax assessed value. Damn.

Because it probably needs 300-400K in updates.

How so? Isn’t the neighborhood rather new?

There was flooding on Hoo Shoo Too but no homes in Mallard Lakes flooded.

It looks like the pool was in bad condition on google maps.

I didn't really look at that or the cabana but again it was left abandoned for at least a year so when I saw it, it was green and trash all in it.

frick Texans. They never pass up an opportunity to remind everyone they don't have income tax. Let those pricks cry when they pay property taxes.

That must be some high ground. Being that close to the river I figured for sure it would've flooded

It will be in St. George soon enough. Every house in that subdivision starts at $1M then just goes up.

He needs to start contributing to Brian Wilson's reelection campaigns/participating in his golf tournament and his taxes will be a lot lower than that. Randall doesn't know how the system works.
