These are insecure Chevy and ford truck owners that are scared to admit their $60k truck with 83 more payments may not be the best.

I don’t think it’s that. I thinks it’s people that never really use their truck bed

This is very simple to see why this is useful

Same reason barn doors were popular on Suburban's and Tahoe's in the 90's. You don't have to stretch over the tailgate to get shite out of the back.

My shin hurts just thinking about kicking my hitch loading the truck up like this...

I can see the use, especially something like a couch. Don't have to get the legs over the gap between the tailgate and the bed.

So you see the usefulness? Being able to load with a fork lift, as another example.

auto body guy told me the new fancy Chevy tailgate costs $4500 to replace and just about any damage necessitates a new one.

I’d like to see the air net “tailgates” make a come back. This is their chance.

We get it. You're a Dodge man. Unfortunately, the majority of us think Dodges are pieces of shite. Making the tailgate of a truck a button flap instead of a zipper like normal people want isn't going to change the fact that it will be back in the dealership within 6 months for repairs.

This is hilarious

I’m simply pointing out this is a smart useful addition by Ram

Why people like you are afraid to admit this because “you aren’t a ram guy” is so weird to me. You can not want to buy a ram and still see how this is useful
