The May 8, 1995 flood there came from 18” of rain in less than 24 hours. Tough to get that again, but the drainage and pumps might not be as good as in 1995.

I lived uptown then and had people kayaking my street at midnight.

rained here in Bessemer, AL - shite we had a tornado touch down about 15 miles from the house
