Did somebody let go of his rope right after saying "Having Trump as president means I don't have to give a shite about your head hitting the floor?" Because if they had then you might be able to make a case for his brand of politics being partially responsible. If nobody did that to the stunt man then maybe you should shut the frick up and quit making stupid comparisons.

Yes she can. It is different. Laws have not caught up to the short-term rental phenomenon. They are still considered personal property under federal laws, and state laws. But what California has done, is try to supersede that through their civil rights department.
And in regards to the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, these state "civil rights" agencies are an outrage, and need to be settled once and for all by the SCOTUS.

She absolutely should have that right though. If AirBnb wants to kick her from renting through them that's fine. I take issue with the government forcing people to do things against their will when there is no tangible harm.

I knew he was being facetious about Trump being responsible for the stunt man getting inured. He was not, however, being facetious about calling people ridiculous for putting some blame on Trump for this woman's treatment of a potential Asian renter, and that's what I was responding to with my own facetious post.

Once she makes it an Airbnb, it does become a pubic establishment. It's not someone letting a friend stay their. It's a business transaction at that point. Once she goes to rent, it becomes a pubic business.
