Among the suburban, educated middle to upper middle class, racism is dissolving. In my lifetime it has gone from extreme to almost non-existent. My kids don't think in terms of race with their friends. And when an issue is raised because of news reports, it's dismissed with a roll of the eyes at how stupid some people are.

Among your dumber, trashier demographic, racism is alive and well - but not the biggest concern considering all the crack, meth, murder, and such.

Odd as it may seem, I don't think racism is that significant of a contributor to America's race relation issues.

Personally for me, I just greatly dislike unintelligent people.

These people come in all colors and shapes and sizes.

I could do without them.

You are someone would is just doing your thing and isn't acting like stupid MF'r, then regardless of what you look like, you are good with me

Just because you don't see it in your life in podunk louisiana doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's alive and well in large cities throughout the country.

It used to be blamed on poor rural ignorant white folks now it's just the big cities?

Or is it rural folks of both color know how to behave and get along with one another? They don't live in the hood and are preached to by their so called leaders that they are being held back by the white man.

Also I find it strange that most big cities vote Democrat.

Why did God create races in the first place?

It's an issue because people keep making threads about it. No one talks about it in real life because we have important shite to discuss. Racism only exists on this website and the 24 hour news channels, just like Miley Cyrus's career or El Cid, it'll go away if you just stop believing.

It's an issue because the less intelligent, less capable people among us claim that racism, not their own poor judgement, is why they struggle in life.

The myth that racism is pervasive in every aspect of society is derived from the refusal of the lowest achieving, least educated minorities to accept responsibility for their own life choices that handicaps them professionally and socially.

The myth that racism is pervasive in every aspect of society is the black under achiever's version of the white under achiever's belief that the entire world is out to get them and this owes them XYZ. Low achievers of all races refuse to consider the impact that their own personal decisions have in their failure.....so they are nowhere near ready to accept responsibility for their screw ups.

There are a few posters (and their alters) who fit the above description.

It exists and so do bad stereotypes.

I'm white (cajun descent), my wife is Hisbanic (born in Texas) and my 16 year stepson is half mexican and black. He's a soph in HS, honor roll student, plays in marching band at local HS that's mostly white. Since freshman year he's been teased cause he's one of the few black kids in band (students constantly have to make point to tell him he's black...like he doesn't know that). They constantly tell him he acts more like a white kid than black person (He's just being himself for Christ's sakes!!) This year it's gotten worse... white upperclass students have been calling him a "N" under their breath in the hallway as they pass by him. Another instance, he was told that he belongs on the other side of the classroom by himself. Now, he wants to transfer to the other local HS.

We meeting with the school admin on Thursday.

Needless to say we are very upset about this!!

Huh? How is that trolling when I answered your question? All races are the not the same, they are different. Asians have higher IQs than white people on average, the average black person is faster than the average Asian person, the average Samoan is heavier than the average Mexican. Those are just the mental and physical differences. You have races like the black race where more kids than not grow up in single family households. Not every race is the same and since that is the case it is silly to think they are all equal when you judge a race as a whole.

That being said we need to judge every person on their own merits because there are great people in every race and shitty people in every race.

I'm as white as a 600 thread count sheet and to you I say frick em. Good kids and nurture will prevail. Shitty white kids are exactly who you think they are. Nature.

No, the fact that you refuse to acknowledge reality is what is moronic. You want to live in a fantasyland where every race is the same when everyone knows damn well that isn't the case.

Racism is an issue because some people can't let it go (and by "some people" I mean people of any race that sees race in everything because they actively look for it).
