The really interesting part of the Basque people is that their language doesn't descend from any of the other languages of the area (Roman, Gaelic, Germanic, etc). It is completely unique.

Anyone can succeed in the USA. However, when you don't value basic education and parenting, your kids are screwed.
Filipinos move here in droves and find success. There is no supremacy holding anyone back.

Same with the native villages here. Tons of money are pumped into these villages, but it's not helping the people.
Which is pretty sad to think about, needing help. Some people literally believe they will not be able to survive without the successful people subsidizing them.

It will never change for some until they stop making excuses for their actions (or lack of action) and stop blaming everyone else for their self generated problems.
I guess it's easier to be an oxygen thief than to be an actual productive member of society.

It really is a fascinating rabbit hole. Theories range from being descended from the first europeans even pre-dating the indo-european people that all other europeans are essentially descended from to being an offshoot of the celts.

Honestly those numbers mean nothing. Many of those people are transplants who came here to get advanced degrees and stayed. Many came here on work visas and came to high paying jobs.

can you find data for African immigrants? I saw data a few years ago that even the average black african immigrant is more successful than the average white person in the USA.

We are being told there is a white upper class that is holding everyone back unless you are white.
Even if they came here with advanced degrees how did they climb the ladder to maintain a yearly income nearly double other whites?
What number should we be looking at?

Almost never. The wealth among the Asian/Pacific groups is mostly second generation. Not first. Despite a high number of work visas given in the tech sector in recent years.

It’s out there somewhere. I’ve looked at it extensively before.
The really interesting part is looking at the children of African immigrants living in the same city and going to the same schools as native African Americans.
Since we are comparing the children of immigrants they don’t have accents that would identify them as immigrant from native blacks. So it’s a fair comparison.
What you find is that they do waaaay better. Even when you control for wealth, location, and schools.
The only explanation is culture. Immigrant families demand more from their kids.
