Hopefully we don’t see that kind of spike here, but people are really beginning to not take any of it seriously.
To me it seems the opposite - people are taking it seriously now, and we're just waiting to see if we're going to take a hurting (from the virus) as a result
As for the economics, we're already fricking ourselves, we might as well go into complete hibernation for the very near term to try and deprive this thing of any oxygen. I'd rather go extreme in the near term to see how much progress we can make.

And how many people will die from the economic ruin this brings?
Nobody's checked me for Corona yet and I've been to the doctor with flu symptoms and negative for the flu.
I think the shite has been here and we're already on the decline. Damned shame the tests wont show that, only drastic increases as we test drastically more people. THIS IS TOTALLY frickED
I would be interesting if they tested for CV antigens to see where we are.

Destroying lives to save lives.

We know enough to realize that you probably have nothing to lose with these bullshite closures and restrictions. Anyone not pissed about this crap is either already retired and drawing a pension or too young to have accumulated anything of value. You’re also most likely only responsible for yourself with no family or employees to worry about. In other words, your opinion doesn’t matter. Shut up and enjoy your off time and your few dollars of “free” money.

Is that possible? We certainly should be pursuing it if so. Right now it's a very popular opinion that's impossible to substantiate.
I personally only know a few people who dont feel that way

Not sure, but I think it would be smart if it is possible

This your opinion and not necessarily a corollary of the actions that are being taken.

Because people are pussies. To quote gladiator "Rome is the mob" and that is more applicable here than ever.
Theres no empirical evidence from anywhere to support all this doom and gloom and we're running a global case study.
LETS GO BACK TO frickING WORK BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

Would be nice to just spit in a cup and find out. Either this shite is horrible or it isnt. I'm firmly in the "I've already had it" camp.

I think country folk are in the best shape until the urban folk come for your stuff. In this hypothetical it would be a rough world

People are calling for 3 weeks and some even as long as until May.
Everyone has lost their damn minds.

It's amazing that people think that bankrupting businesses is an "inconvenience".

Homelessness and unemployment are just “inconveniences”.

Just start another business and stop being an a-hole. This isn't difficult.

Should've said 3 months. I might have believed that.
