Chantix (sp?). It's a prescription drug. Get it.

Thanks, and I believe it works, but I am just gonna try to do it naturally

OK. Good Luck. She never made it more than 2 weeks without it but 8 years after using it (obviously she doesn't still use it)

Get a good e-cig and taper off, it makes it super easy. Also, be sure to avoid alcohol for a bit because nothing makes you want a cig like a nice buzz.

PS: I'm 45 minutes into it, haha. A friend told me if I can make 72 hours, most of the cravings will be gone.

72 hours you will nicotine free (drinking certain fluids can speed that up), but the craving last 7-10 days. Peaking at days 5-7.

I quit the day after Christmas cold turkey. I am craving free. The first week wasn't easy but after that it was smooth sailing. Just always try to keep your mouth busy. Bite on straws, get some chewing gum....anything.

Get some blow pops (or other type of sucker you prefer) it helps to replace the hand to mouth habit.

Just think how nasty you are and how nasty everyone around you thinks you are.

Smokers are exponentially more nasty than fatties. Chew on that.

here's the deal with quitting cigs. most people can't quit.

if in 1 year from now you still haven't had a cig, then you can say that you quit.

Chantix. This is my 2nd time around quitting. First time I quit for 1.5 years, now I am 2 months into it. Each time I took Chantix and was basically done with the urge to smoke in about 2 weeks on the pill. If you have existing mental issues, I would not reccomend. Those are the types of people that seem to have the sever side effects.

Over 2 hours now, Lol. I think once you make up your mind, it is not hard. in these 2 hours, I have had 2 thoughts of smoking, and 1 thought to run to the store and get a pack, I expected these thoughts.

I quit 5 years ago. I tried everything out there stated to help. I ended quitting cold turkey. It took me 2 years to really quit wanting one which is what motivates me to stay away now. But what helped me the most was info on why cheating even with one smoke will cause havoc. True or not I used it. This is that nicotine has a half life of 2 weeks in your system which is the physical withdrawal period. Since it is a half life one cigarette will put enough nicotine in your system to start another bout of physical withdrawals. Hope that helps.
