Really? How do?

And why would the government want you to wear a mask if not to slow the spread of covid?

FYI, to all you Christians, Jesus was a long haired socialist. Don't believe me, give me Bible quotes of his about Capitalism because I've got plenty about Socialism.

You are an utter moron. Christ's message was about an individual's relationship to God and his fellow men. A prerequisite of godliness is free will. Forcing an individual to pay taxes or subsidize programs using the monopoly of force is not a moral act. At best, it's an amoral act, since it was not done freely, but rather by compulsion. To suggest that Christ would be a collectivist is utter insanity. There's a reason religions are persecuted in communist countries. They're afraid of people worshipping something other than the state.

You would think he would have one consistent message regarding mask wouldn’t you.

No, I would expect as a man of science as more data came in he would refine and change his message based on data. That's how Science works. That's how mature adults work. Also as he said, he didn't want a run on mask in the beginning to try and be sure people working in hospitals would have maks. Those who need it most. He made a judgement call on trying to save the most lives. You can disagree with it, but it doesn't mean given the entirety of the situation he changed his mind.

I didn't think the virus came from a lab at first. I like occam's razor and most diseases haven't entered the human population from a lab, but watching evidence and listening to experts it seems more likely COVID did escape a lab.

I’m a non masker but where one if a business requires it. Cant support business choice to serve or not serve based on religion, moral belief, etc... if I can’t respect their decision to require masks in their place of business.

Also... nothing screams protection like seeing someone with a stained yellow mask at HD. You know, the one they have been wearing for a few months straight.

I suspect if you went into an OR and doctors and nurses were all wearing bandanas you would feel good about it..... since they are so effective and all. LOL.

Those laws were all suggestions at one point, too. You do what you're told to do in every aspect of life. In your own house. Your land. Your car. Your job. Your lakes. Your woods. Your everything.

The mask debate is silly.

Our fellow man is exactly what I'm talking about. Freedom and free will in Christianity is about judgement. One can't be judged unless free to make decisions. If Jesus was against taxes then why did he say, give unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's and give unto god what it god's? Pretty sure that's directly about taxes. For Jesus being against a collective, then please explain the following.

Matthew 6:2-4
“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Galatians 6:2
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Luke 3:11-14
And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.” Tax collectors also came to be baptized and said to him, “Teacher, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Collect no more than you are authorized to do.” Soldiers also asked him, “And we, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Do not extort money from anyone by threats or by false accusation, and be content with your wages.”

2 Corinthians 8:1-9:15
We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints— and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us. ...

1 John 3:17
But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

Leviticus 25:35-38
“If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you. Take no interest from him or profit, but fear your God, that your brother may live beside you. You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

Deuteronomy 14:28-29
“At the end of every three years you shall bring out all the tithe of your produce in the same year and lay it up within your towns. And the Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance with you, and the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your towns, shall come and eat and be filled, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

Got a lot more if you need.

Imagine being stupid enough to think it’s a good idea to make this thread
