And if it is that easy, why have numerous businesses dumped millions of dollars into research into how to safely and effectively sanitize masks? Just in the past 3 months multiple research businesses have gotten big grants to research and develop sanitizing methods for masks that actually work.

Safety items can’t be personalized? Someone tell G String to quit putting stickers on the helmets for the team. All the oil field baws better take off the stickers on the hard hat. It’s a good thing I don’t like bumper stickers, otherwise it might diminish the effectiveness.

How often should I wash my cloth mask?

- Dunno. Up to you. Don’t be nasty-arse. Make more than one and have a daily rotation. It ain’t hard.

What is the lifetime for a cloth mask?

- Beats me, but they are cheap. If one wears out get another one. This is the basic rule of underwear.

Why isn't there places to dispose of masks?

- Its called the garbage. Are you the one that has been dropping them in parking lots? Don’t be a nasty-arse.

Is it hygienic to hang them from my mirror, pocket, or purses (for ladies)?

- Dunno, but it’s handy. Plus it shows everyone that you are in the cool-kids-mask-club.

Is there a safe place to store our masks?

- Dunno. Are you worried about someone stealing it?

If you had surgery or saw a doctor, would you be okay if they didn't change their mask?

- Dunno. I’m probably not on drugs, but I’m guessing I would rely upon his concern for my health to not be a nasty-arse.

- Dunno, but I suspect if the virus has an dormant periods that it would not be dependent upon when you decided to eat.

Will masks be the new normal since there are viruses and bacteria pretty much all the time?

- Dunno, but I doubt it. We’ve had viruses and bacteria for decades. This one just seems to be somewhat different than usual.

- Dunno, probably the same reason we personalize anything.

If masks are mandatory, why aren't they provided?

- Dunno. But we are required to do lots of things that the government does not provide. If it makes you feel any better, I would guess they will be tax deductible.

I saw one place that had a bucket of surgical masks out for people to get when they were going in the door.

Can you imagine all the dirty, filthy, nasty hands that have been rummaging through that bucket for a few days running?

Hasn't really worked toward that goal in California and some other areas.

Mask are not mandatory. If you don't want to wear a mask, almost every place is doing some form of curbside pickup.

That is why masks are not provided.

Kinda like your car insurance example. If you don't want to pay car insurance, you don't have to have a vehicle. Ride a bike or take public transport.
