Questions about Magnanni shoes

I have my eye on a pair of wholecuts but have never owned a bologna construction dress shoe. How are yours holding up? Also if you have leather heels do they offer the distinct walking sound like an Italian shoe? How is the leather quality on the upper?

More of a Spanish feel from my experience. If you order them online from handcrrafters in Venice, you get the full Italian walking experience. A bit pricey.

I’ve got around 10 pair and a few pair of Allen Edmonds. I like the look of the Magnanni shoes better but the Edmonds are a better made and longer lasting shoe.

I'm a dockers, Levi's wearing cheap bastard except for shoes. Cheap shoes hurt my feet and I end up spending more replacing them every 8 months. I still try to find good shoes on clearance though

I have two pairs of the Miro, one Santiago, and a couple others.
Amazing shoes...love the quality. A bit tight at first but break in nicely.

Make sure the leather comes from genuine grass fed Italian heifers from the foothills of the Alps. That is the only way to know that they are legit. A lot of knockoffs parading as the real deal.
