Say you're not going through a real estate agent. Get the house appraised first right, then take that info to your banks loan officer to determine an offer?

At what point do i need to bring an inspector in? Or is the inspector part of the appraisal process?

just curious. Found a decent starter home Im interested in.

Your parents haven't given you a house yet?

That's how it's done.

You will stil have a mortgage, so why worry? The appraisal is the basis for value and your credit and income are the other half. I loaned out $15MM last year in construction and mortgage loans. Good on you for buying now, mortgage rates are super low.

I don't understand ?
Buy a house?
You just write a check from the account you get upon birth .
They usually tell you that when they validate your white person card.
Wait....

So you've been pre-approved? Your lender will take care of the inspection.

And you aren't buying a house. So stop.

I bought my first home sans real estate agent. First thing you need to do is see a lending agent and find out what kind of financing you can get- unless you're paying cash. The lending agent can help you thru the process. next get a good title lawyer who can help you with all the legal shite. The appraisal is one of the last steps.

Go ask on the Money Board. You'll get some better answers.

Hire a lawyer that works at a title company. They can walk you thru it.
