re: Question for fraternity members

I will agree that the younger generation comes off as a bunch of pussies across the board, not just in frats. Or, it could be that we’re getting older, hopefully more mature and more capable of taking on difficult tasks and see younger, less experienced people as weak. I think it’s a combination of the two.

Did it ever feel like all the guys who came after you were way more bitchy? Every year when I see them at homecoming it looks like we are giving more and more bids to pussies. Pisses me off. I’m wondering if this is a generational thing or if I need to go ahead and burn my letters
If someone is over 25 years old, and this is something that concerns them, they need to seriously re-evaluate their life.

I haven’t even thought about my fraternity in twenty years. It was great while I was in college but life marches on. I hope the new folk are having fun.
I think I keep up with five of the guys or so. Couldn’t tell you where the rest are. Don’t care.

You see, we weren’t jackarses about it and new when enough was enough. We also made every pledge turn in their phone so nobody could record anything.
The crackdown on hazing is a travesty. Hazing is a humbling rite of passage. It's also completely voluntary, and creates comradery with the pledges who get their balls hazed off together and don't quit like bitches.
I say this as someone who rarely hazed pledges.

Make them all fight a chimp to the death barehanded one at a time. Only offer bids to the survivors.

We enjoy a massive house to party in, alcohol, and hot sorority girls just as much as y'all. We're just not into letting a 22 year old with a mild coke problem tell us that we have to dress like a 40 year old man and be their bitch for a whole semester. Pretty simple. Just be friends with fraternity dudes and sorority girls. You get invited to basically all the parties and have to deal with 0 of the bullshite that is pledging. Definitley the route I would recommend.

Yeah but you don’t get the bond from being forced to drink until you puke and eating dog food with someone else like I did..
in all honesty there’s good and bad to fraternity life but If I had to do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing. It isn’t for everybody though I’ll give you that

Some of the most fun I had in college was walking in with the guys on our football team to some chode-filled frat party and straight cucking y’all and daring them to try to kick us out.
Was this supposed to make you sound cool?
Cuz it seems to me you were a little bitch that rode the jock strap of the football players. You sound like you would have been kicked out and beat up if you weren't hiding behind 250 lb football players.
You sound soft.

You never did this. You sat in your dorm room beating off for four years.

The same reason you declare frats inferior is why everyone reading this thinks you're a douche.

Definitley. That's what I hear from most of my friends who were in fraternities. I might have rushed if it wasn't for the dues. I know I could have rushed without joining a frat but that's what's supposed to be the end result and I just wasn't willing to pay for it. Plus I knew the pledging process is a bitch and if they asked me to do some shite like that (eat dog food, drink some digusting concoction, etc.) I'd say frick that and just have wasted whatever money I had initially spent.

Honestly man I thought the same thing but whenever they keep telling you everyone did it it’s easy to let peer pressure get to you. That being said 2 guys who refused to eat nasty shite Basically called our bluff and we didn’t kick them out for it. I mean if we drop you at that point what’s stopping you from going and ratting since you know what we do. Most members are pussies and won’t actually force you to eat shite physically because they know that’s a good way to catch a. Charge these days. Most college kids are too dumb to think about that though or don’t wanna be looked at as the guy who didn’t do it

And this soy boy stuff is why I was a GDI
