He makes a good point though. Couples should remember their wedding day is about them first and foremost. Any wedding day decisions should be one the couple is ok with. Yes, you make wedding planning decisions with family and close friends in mind....but you simply cannot please everyone....so at least you should make sure you and your future spouse are happy with it.

Twice. First time I was pretty young and my wedding was about what everyone else wanted. Second time was for me and my bride. It was much better and more meaningful for both me and her. Relationship same.
