It was an awesome show. Can't believe how many people left while the blue angels were performing. Sit out here all day long just to miss the main attraction

I left my mom's around 2:30 to make sure I avoided the traffic leaving, and was amazed at the line of cars heading out from the gate by the credit union.

That was my favorite part of the show besides the Blues. Especially the Heritage Passes they did with them two side by side recognizing 70 years of the Air Force's existence and also service men and women who have served and are still serving.

Great show this weekend.. the setup was nice and the weather today was awesome once the sun came out..
I've seen every air show they've had the past twenty or so years, and it felt like they didn't have as many planes fly as usual. Can't remember for sure since it's been 5 years or so... nothing to complain about though, the show was great

I really liked the old jet from the 40s that flew right before the Blues.. was it called the Vamp?
Yeah I was baffled how many people started packing up right when the Angels started their routine. The buses were relatively fast for how many people where our there today.
I'm tempted to make a trip to Lake Charles next weekend and check out the Thunderbirds.. I got the airshow fever

They just took off from the base. Got to see that atleast while I'm stuck in traffic.

2 hours really? It took us maybe 20 minutes to get back on the interstate.
We were parked in lot b.. stopped at Bobby Heberts on Veterans and about to head back to BR.
