Wow, what a fricking embarrassment. I’m sure this was an intentional middle finger since they allowed Biden to be the only world leader with a motorcade but weren’t going to let him off scott free. The only other world leader that should be sat in front of the President is the British Prime Minister and he’s behind Poland.

I think its appropriate. I'm not too sure why that clown is there in the first place (Polish leader too). Does he have any history with the Queen? This should be a England and UK thing.

How crazy would it be to be a pallbearer for the Queen of England? I wonder if those guys are someone or just won the lottery.

Kind of amazing all those people were able to zip from Westminster to Windsor and be so organized ahead of the queen.

It’s a state funeral, dude. People from all over the world are there right now. This isn’t your typical funeral.

Pallbearers look like some good old baws, a memory their ancestors will brag about for generations

The cool thing is that when they are 90 years old, they can show their great-grandkids what ol' pop pop did instead of just telling them about it.

I don’t know enough about this but can the people in the crowd even see this alter? Seems like two different rooms.

Who’s at this second ceremony? Is this UK officials only? Family only? It’s clearly smaller than the first one.

It’s the old European-style cathedrals. It does look bizarre from an functional standpoint.

Then again, I was brought up in a typical, southern American style church with all the pews facing forward. Maybe it looks more reasonable to those who grew up in such churches.

Fair enough. Just seems like majority of crowd are just looking at the small entrance to the chapel. Idk.

This one isn’t for dignitaries.

The scepter and orb have to be held down by something. No way they’re only resting on top of the casket. I’d be terrified of them taking a spill anytime the casket is moved, otherwise. The scepter is basically on two little sticks with no base. You know those suckers are heavy.

they cannot. it’s an odd design, but i forget why they’re designed that way.

i’m sure it was separated by class.

'The Orb' is definitely the Holy Hand Grenade.

all those older cathederals were built in the shape of the Cross...

I'm sorry, but every time I see the orb all I can think of is Brother Maynard and the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch

I think I read there are 800 people at this committal ceremony.

Then later this afternoon, without TV cameras, the family will gather and they will move both Elizabeth and Phillip from the royal vault to the King George VI Memorial chapel (which is a small addition to the church just off the crossing section of the bigger building).

They will actually be buried there, one coffin on top of the other.

Somebody keep him away from Princess Charlotte.

She’s only 7, so that makes her eligible for his dating pool.
