I loved seeing the pictures of her on her fell ponies. I’d never even heard of the breed until I saw the queen on them. Smart to move to something closer to the ground with age

Not true at all. The expenses of the royal family come from the Sovereign Grant. Profits from the Crown Estate (which the royal family surrendered to the Treasury) are what funds the Sovereign Grant. Currently, they receive 25% of the Crown Estate, with the other 75% going to the Treasury.
The royals’ private income comes from the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall. These are portfolios of private properties owned by HM and the Prince of Wales (currently).

I am going to London in 3 weeks to run the London Marathon.I wouldnt be surprised if they cancel it if something happens to her. The finish line is right near Buckingham Palace.

They generate a profit. Think of them like LSU football. People get pissed how much money they spend but don’t look at the money made with those expenditures. The royal family is in the black as far as taxpayer $
