I did some serious filling for your mom for free.

My mom is over 80. Just saying.

It's not the years, it's the mileage.

So you don't own a model 3 but rented one for a long distance road trip? Long distance road trips are the biggest drawback to EVs. You utilized one in the worst scenario possible and are bitching about it? You should be bitching about your own decision making.

Wasn’t a rental. I rode back with a buddy that came in for Christmas. He owns it. It’s his only vehicle.

So this isn’t the “gotcha” that you thought it was.

I started working from home in November. I think outside of one road trip I have filled my truck twice.

It is amazing me how little I now drive.

I rode from BR to Atlanta in a escalade for Christmas. We had to stop for gas twice,

If you stopped twice, that was by choice. The Escalade has a minimum 26 gallon tank. It should be getting at least 20MPH on the road. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and say it was only 18MPG If you got gas after 24gallons (when the light comes on) then you made it at least 432 miles. It’s only 526 miles to Atlanta. There is no reason to stop a second time.

I will admit, if I didn't have to fill up my car at some gas stations I'm around and all the degenerates accompanying, the sound of just filling up at home does sound pleasant.
Install a UST like we did in the 70-80’s.

Piss breaks. But since they were stopped anyway, they might as well fill back up.

I don't have a hard time finding gas stations.

$90 for a fill-up, do you drive a motorhome?

My neighbor has a Tesla.

I know because the tow truck loads it up about every 6 months

The US is about to be severely overloaded with EV’s. People are starting to realize all the problems, headaches, and costs of the ev’s. Sales are crashing.

have to consistently find gas stations

Unless you live/work/frequently travel in the middle of nowhere, how hard is it to consistently find a gas station?
