Pulling over for an ambulance in the opposite lane

Why the frick do people do this? Is that the law? I only pull over when there's an emergency vehicle behind me in MY lane. If it's in the opposite lane in opposing traffic, I'm not in the way and therefore continue going about my day while not slowing down traffic behind me.
If you're one of those people who pull over for an emergency vehicle in the opposite lane, frick you. I hate that shite.

But hey, I'm a classy guy.

Give them as much space as possible so they can comfortably haul arse and not have to worry about running into people. If it's not a law, it should be.

law is you have to yield to the right of an emergency vehicle

Just common courtesy. What if it needs to whip a U turn on the spot? I'm sure there are many hypothetical situations to which it is a good idea to pull over.

Wow. You're such an upstanding citizen.

What if they need to turn in front of you?

People do this in AZ all the time and it drives me nuts.

Because sometimes emergency vehicles have to turn left. Not really that complicated, and as a guy who drives a fire truck at times, let me say how annoying it is when idiots in the opposite lanes don't stop.
How did you pass your driving test?

Agreed. Also, what's up with all these assholes donating blood for strangers? You don't know where that blood is going! You could be saving the life of a pedophile! fricking pricks.

So you're one of those pretentious assholes who goes around helping people and causing confusing traffic procedures to take place?
You're the worst kind of person.

Because we're all in this together. You never know when some jackhole is going to be texting and giving the ambulance a little extra room for like 10 seconds of my life is just common G-ddamned courtesy, baw.

I know, i hate myself for it. But f op will send me his address i will contact his local department to ensure they obey all traffic laws on a call to his house.

Nothing sucks worse than when it's almost time for your light to turn green at a busy intersection but an ambulance rushes through and changes all the lights to red. Then the signals reset and you have to wait through the entire cycle again.
