Gotta throw in retirement and benefits also. I bet it’s a sweet gig.

Driver pay in Louisiana is right at $23 p/h (average). This does not include benefits, overtime, etc.

Usually, they start out at $20 p/h. Can be as high as $34 p/h, with years of experience.

It can be long hours, but it isn't a job that you have to take home with you, which can be a plus/perk.

I worked at ups in the 80s. OTR drivers were making over $50k then, and local delivery drivers were over $40k. I'm sure that is way higher now, and they still get pensions. Pay is great

For the record, I’m an ups driver and I just wanted to know what public thought we made. We’re union and in a contract year and it looks like we gonna strike so I just wanted to know what people thought.

The King of Queens had a pretty nice house and was able to afford to live next door to The Incredible Hulk.

Question.

Why do y’all put packages in obvious places that porch pirates can see?

I know a lot of people have open porch designs and not a lot of hiding places, but for those of us with a bush or railing in the way, why not try to hide it?

This guy at my gym drove for them and he was telling me about their pension plan and how after a certain amount of years you could get out.

We are supposed to hide it a little bit, all the new drivers are just worried about getting home. We get overtime after 8 hours in a day so I don’t understand that philosophy
