The left lane is for passing, not driving. I spent too much time today in your shitty State because your shitty drivers keep clogging the left lane and causing accidents.

FYI, this is not exclusive to Alabama. I’ve spent plenty of time behind idiots in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, etc.

I have never seen it worse than on I-65. I agree that people are idiots everywhere but they need to reteach drivers ed in Alabama.

I've known my wife for 15 years and I-20 between Meridian and Tuscaloosa has been under construction the whole time. Lots of orange barrels and no work being done.
They drop the speed limit to 50 in places and people will get in the left lane doing 40

Who cares? The Tahd won a national championship in 1941 when there were three undefeated teams after bowl season, but they got shut out by both Mississippi State and Vanderbilt in the regular season and finished 3rd in the SEC and 20th in the final poll, but beat A&M in the bowl game and in 1983, their SID found some ranking done by a guy in 1941 who died in 1959 that made them first and RAWL DAM TAHD!

Hate to break it to you but it's a nationwide problem. Police should focus on this a LOT more than just running speed traps. The latter is a lot easier though.

65? That's the interstate to the beach. 95% of the time, a slowdown or accident is due to some Yankee fricking clown that can't drive on his way to/from the beach.

It’s worse here. I remember driving in Texas years ago and drivers would actually pull off the road to let you pass on two lane roads.
