I’m going to have to fly to Nebraska to get a Popeyes sandwish. Can’t handle the dysfunction at a Southern Popeyes.

Chik Fil A is successful because they make good food for a fast food joint and have outstanding customer service and employees who actually give a shite.
Popeyes Hires away the ice cream machine attendee at McDonalds. So every employee at Popeyes is the laziest employee from McDonalds. They attract lazy workers because management doesn’t care about service or quality. Which is why this chicken sandwich battle is silly. Popeyes can’t sustain making anything popular. If they want to compete with CFA then they have to basically fire their entire management and staff and follow the CFA/Raising Canes model. They won’t do that.
CFA already won the war, Popeyes just doesn’t know it yet.
And I love Popeyes chicken. I eat it maybe once every 3 months because it kills my stomach, but it’s a guilty pleasure. But, I’ve been to Popeyes and ordered my 3 piece dark and had them tell me “we outta dark meat”....at a chicken only restaurant...lol

Just went to the popeyes on highland by I-10. They were out of the chicken sandwich and French fries as well as medium drinks. They only had small and large drinks.
The employees looked exhausted and got my order wrong in that I got 2 pieces of spicy chicken when I ordered 3. But they did give me 4 tenders although I ordered 3 (for the kids) so I guess I got that going for me.

I went yesterday. I got a three piece spicy with fries. I was the only person in the drive through. They got my order correct, the lady at the drive through smiled at me, I didn't even have to pull up, and I was on my way in 2-3 minutes after pulling up to the speaker.
I threw it away as soon as I got home because there's no way things were on the up and up at that Popeyes. I'm not gonna eat their tainted food and get taken over by the pod people because I failed to notice they'd infiltrated that Popeyes.
