Ah, you didn't watch the video.

the video where the guy with the OBVIOUSLY not concealed weapon, puts himself into the fight ? Maybe we watched different videos..Which one did you see ?

EDIT: His shirt with an M-16 that says " I am the weapon" backs up my previous statements..This dude has been waiting to be the "good guy with a gun"

I saw the one where the guy who got shot was clearly trying to stop a fight from happening, then I saw you post that he was dressed like a guy that would literally do the complete opposite.

As evidenced by trying to not let people fight?

You're talking about cargo shorts and print t-shirts and ignoring what actually happened.

Interjecting himself into the situation was problem one..

attire says a lot about your demeanor..You're also glossing over that holster atrocity

His friend was trying to fight, he was trying to stop the fight. As I said, he was doing quite literally the complete opposite of what you say his attire would have you think he was doing.

If you watched the video, you really can't refute that, that's fact.

quote:

attire says a lot about your demeanor
Except in this case, he did the opposite of what his attire "said." His friend in the blue shirt actually had the demeanor you're talking about, not him.

quote:

You're also glossing over that holster atrocity
That was bad, but not really relevant to him, again, trying to break up a fight and doing the opposite of what you're saying he was looking to do.

apparently your wardrobe consist of these shirts, and I get it...Maybe you knew this guy but I'm guessing we all know the types..The dude should have known better than to intervene with a pistol on him...Bottom line..He died due to his own recklessness and the Anti2a crowd will eventually latch onto this

The video I watched the cops yelled "Drop the gun, drop the gun, drop the motherfricking gun!" before firing.

Funny you say that as I don't know shite about guns and would be a pretty terrible candidate for the Armed Forces. That take of yours is pretty on par with this thread, you just thinking the exact opposite of what actually is in front of us.

Maybe you knew this guy
The guy in Texas on the LSU message board...nah, I didn't know that guy in Portland. There's a trend here with your insinuations being wrong.

quote:

The dude should have known better than to intervene with a pistol on him
Correct, which again, doesn't make your previous statements that he was looking for trouble correct, so there's that.

It was pretty clearly his friend in blue that was trying to fight, and pretty clear that he was trying to not let that happen, regardless of that being a good/bad decison, you were still wrong about what you thought his clothes insinuated vs what he actually did.

No thanks, I'm good.

And his actions said the exact opposite. It was his friend who put him in a place he did not want to be, and he was clearly doing the exact opposite of what you said his clothes makes it look like.

quote:

HE IS DEAD..why...because he did just that

So he'd be dead if his friend wasn't trying to fight?

frick off
You should considering trying to calm down, you're getting pretty pissy on a message board.

Without even watching a video, I can tell you that's a hard one. Concealed carry veteran trying to help. But in the midst of an ongoing brawl, police see someone reach for a gun on the ground.

Again, no context, but what else are the police supposed to think? If they yelled to drop the gun, it might not have registered to the man that they were talking to him because it was his gun. That's actually a reason many people I know don't carry even though they can; they don't want to get pulled into that scenario just by having a gun.

Concealed carriers should avoid being around cops.
