While there were some small bouts of rioting Saturday, there were numerous protests last night that were not only peaceful, but were embraced by both police and protestors alike.
The percentage of those who disobeyed the law were small and are aggressively being pursued.
Oh and not for nothing, but one of the businesses (a black owned wine shop) was broken into was by white people wearing masks (hey at least they were aware of COVID!).
Also, our governor, Charlie Baker (R) has handled this leaps and bounds better than Louisiana’s governor, John Bel Edwards (D), as long as you want to keep political score.
ETA: I love how facts get downvoted when it doesn’t fit the narrative. Downvote away.

Some folks are upset over how the crowd was handled. The point being, it was handled with no injuries on either side, minimal arrests, and no known damage. As soon as shite started to get rowdy, the tear gas came out.

Good. I put that together a day or so ago off of news reports and a Newsweek article with city-by-city coverage. Some have done much better than others.

Chicago PD is in a vehicle pursuit on Smoke n Scan. He crashed out then ran then stole a car from a gas station and is fleeing again.

Sounds like pursuing officers was just involved in a crash. Officer screaming in the radio stating an officer was injured.

Yea it was total chaos for a few mins. Just said murder suspect. May have children in the car jacked vehicle.
